Sweet Sixteen

Jon Bryant – Father

Give me sports, and I will run.
Give me arts, and I’ll have some fun.
Give me maths, and I will sigh;
But give me stories, and I will fly.

Just some stories – old and new,
Of the man that thought and the pig that flew.
Of magic forest and girls under spell,
Filled with dances, music and wedding bell.
Gleaming with oceans blue and deep,
And lost princes and treasures to seek.
So that, by the end, when my last tear falls,
I know, somewhere out there, another story calls.
