Amelie – Comptine D’un Autre Ete: L’apres Midi (Yann Tierson)

It is an honour to rejoice with those who rejoice, and to mourn with those who mourn. I`m not good at the mourning part. My face gets all tight and pinchy and the few words I do manage I say with sincerity, but I`m sure they sound less than sincere. Because, what do you say to loss and sadness? Loss and sadness do not want to hear celebration. And we so easily forget what it feels like to mourn when we have reason to be glad. It can be hard and painful to rejoice with those who rejoice and to weep with those who weep. But it is an honour to share the burden, to stand together and walk through the mourning.
